Adapt Public Affairs Training to the European Reality

Posted by Challenge for Europe on 20/05/09

We call for the integration of interculturality modules into European public affairs training. Interculturality is not an innate ability but in EU27, it is imperative. The future frameworks of both national and European institutions will need training reinforced by the management of diversity. They should also have a common curriculum for training on European mechanisms, the articulation of the scales of governance and multi-actor collaboration. This is necessary since the art of articulating great unity amongst great diversity -the essence of the art of European governance – cannot be improvised.
